Kriya Materials has developed a line of NIR blocking coating products for the window film industry. These coatings give window films solar heat blocking functionality. The coatings provide the films with excellent optical transparency and good scratch resistance.

The solar heat blocking functionality varies per coating type and coating thickness. In the datasheets of the coating the heat blocking functionality is presented for a given coating thickness. The coating products are solvent based UV curable coatings comprising our proprietry ATO nanodispersions.

The coating products are suitable for the following processing techniques:

• Gravure coating
• Reverse roll coating
• Flow coating

Suitable substrate materials include PET & PMMA. Other substrates can be examined.
