Kriya Materials has developed a line of optical hardcoating products for the film and sheet industry. These products have specifically tuned refractive indices to meet the stringent requirements of the optical film industry in terms of optical clarity and prevention of rainbow effects.

Besides these functionalities the hardcoating products have high hardness and scratch resistance. The surface properties of the coatings can vary from non-overcoatable to overcoatable and printable, depending on the application.

The coating products are solvent based UV curable coatings comprising proprietry nanodispersions and are suitable for the following processing techniques:

• Gravure coating
• Reverse roll coating
• Kiss coating
• Flow coating

Suitable substrate materials include PET, PC, PMMA.
