Kriya Materials has developed a line of antistatic hardcoating products for the film and sheet industry. These products meet the requirements of permanent static charge control and electrostatic discharge protection.
The coated sheets and films have a surface resistivity of order 108 - 1010 Ω/□. The antistatic functionality is permanent, non-transferrable and does not depend on humidity, temperature etc. Our antistatic hardcoats meet the requirements of a protective hardcoat, i.e. high pencil hardness, excellent optical appearance, very low color and relative high temperature stability. The coating products are solvent based UV curable coatings, and comprise nanodispersions of our proprietry ATO particles.
The coating products are suitable for the following processing techniques:
- Gravure coating
- Reverse roll coating
- Flow coating
Suitable substrate materials include PET, PC, PMMA, PP, cellulosics etc.
